Division of Police maintains data on reported crimes. This information
is key when determining such things as the need for new or the
redistribution of existing personnel, the need for additional or
specialized training, acquisition of equipment or other investigative resources to
continue to keep our community safe.
Additionally this information is provided to
other government agency for the purpose of acquiring federal and state
funding grants, to students involved attending class in society
related studies and many others upon request.
