 raffic issues such as speeding and pedestrian safety are a top priority, not only for citizens but also for police.   The Newark Police Department is committed to addressing citizen concerns regarding traffic and working with the community to help solve traffic problems but we need your help.

You may also report traffic problems by contacting the Patrol Bureau at 740.670.7200 and select item 1.

Emergency sign or signal maintenance problems, such as a downed stop sign, or a traffic signal that is on flash, should be called into the City of Newark Street Department at 740.670.7728
